A privacy-friendly parents' survey

A school route survey touches on sensitive questions: where does the family live, when is the child on its way? Zebrio is built so that only the school can read these answers, and only for as long as needed.

End-to-end encrypted

The answers are encrypted on the parents' device. Only the school has the key, on a printed key sheet. Neither the operator nor the host can read the answers; on the server they are stored only in encrypted form.

The key sheet replaces passwords: whoever has it can analyse the answers. That is why the school keeps it safe.

No names, no tracking

  • No names or addresses

Parents answer with a code from the school's letter, without an account, a name or an email address.

  • No cookies, no tracking

No ads, no analytics and no requests to other providers; even maps and fonts come from our own server.

  • Parents stay in control

With their code, parents can change or delete their answers at any time.

  • Deleted automatically

A year group's answers are deleted when its time at primary school ends; earlier if the school asks.

  • Only summaries leave the school

The municipality and the traffic authority only get summarised numbers, never a single child's route.

  • Comments only after approval

Parents' comments only appear in the report once the school has checked and approved them.

Responsibility and privacy notice

The school is responsible for the survey; the operator processes the data on its behalf. Zebrio comes with the privacy notice for parents, completed with the school's details.
